Section A - The membership shall consist of anyone employed by a business organization of any type or a member of any profession.
Section B - The total number of members shall be limited.
Section C – The membership shall be limited to no more than one member within any one occupational field. A change of occupation or employer by a member shall require that member’s resignation/re-submittal from/to the TMBC.
Section D - Any member may nominate a person for membership. The procedure for new member selection shall be as follows:
a. Sponsoring member notifies Membership Chairperson of intent to bring a guest, including his/her name, company and job.
b. Sponsor brings guest to breakfast, at which time the guest fills out information form and returns it to the Membership Chairperson that morning. The form will include the guest’s name, address, phone number, company, a brief but all—inclusive job description, and his/her intentions (guest only or prospective member).
c. Sponsor informs guest that he/she will be notified by the Membership Chairperson regarding membership in the club. Guest returns only upon invitation.
d. The following Tuesday, the Membership Chairperson informs the membership of a guest’s intention of joining and reads his/her job description. Anyone who objects to the person becoming a member, for any reason, must notify the Membership Chairperson by Thursday of that week.
e. If one or more members object, Membership Chairperson sends a letter explaining that there is a conflict and that his/her membership will be considered in the future should that conflict be eliminated.
f. If no one objects, Membership Chairperson sends an invitation to join, before the following Tuesday.
Section E - A member of the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club shall not belong to any other leads and referrals club, due to the confidential nature of the business discussed at TMBC meetings.
